Historic Home (Built circa 1640)
Originally built in 1640, this home has since been relocated from its original lot to where it rests today. There are some features of the home that show its age. The original single room home is defined by what is now the first floor living room. Additions and modifications have been made over the past 450 years, including an addition off the back of the house and a second floor loft that includes the master suite. Our scope work included the following:
- refinish the 12" wide pine floors
- remove carpet in the dining room and install tile
- remove/patch an existing window opening
- build and install a custom bookcase and cabinet
- interior and exterior paint
- custom closet shelving
- replace interior doors
- remodel powder room
- refinish the existing butcher block countertop
- modify the existing kitchen cabinets
